Eyebrow Lamination

This treatment requires a patch test at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. Without patch testing, your treatment cannot take place. It is your responsibility to arrange this in advance.

What is brow lamination?

Brow lamination is a three treatment which involves applying a solution to chemically break down the bonds in the hairs to enable them to become more flexible, so that they can easily be manipulated and hold a style a lot easier.

The brow hairs are straightened from the root and then set using a neutralising solution. By straightening the brow hairs, we can create a much fuller brow that looks fluffy and feathered. Once this process has been complete, the brow hairs are then tinted and shaped to make the brows look beautifully defined!

The last step involves applying a nourishing product on the hairs which also gives a glossy look that you tend to see on my Instagram. The brows tend to look quite sleek during this stage but do not fear, they will look much more softer and natural the following day when you begin to style them!

You can expect your brow lamination results to last up to 12 weeks. However, most clients tend to opt for a 'maintenance' visit 6 weeks after their brow lamination appointment. This includes reshaping and tinting the brows. I also love to apply a nourishing mask on the hairs to bring the brows back to life!

Pre treatment advice & aftercare

Please let your hair grow at least 4-6 weeks before booking an appointment for best results. This ensures the hair is long enough for the wax to pick up.

Avoid fake tan on the face 1 week prior to your appointment and 24 hours post appointment.

Avoid using sunbeds / high sun exposure 1 week prior to your appointment and 3 days post appointment.

Avoid chemical peels, microdermabrasion and microneedling for 4-6 weeks before your appointment depending on how mild the facial was.

Avoid anti-ageing products containing retinol or Vitamin A for 3 weeks prior to your appointment.

Avoid skin peels or products containing ingredients such as AHAs (glycolic acid and lactic acid), BHA's (salicylic acid), enzymes (e.g. pumpkin) or steroids for 3 weeks prior to your appointment.

Botox/filler procedures should be carried out after your waxing treatment. You must wait 2 weeks for the skin to settle after a botox/filler procedure before having a waxing service.

Do not use saunas, steam rooms, sunbeds or spend time in the sun for 3 days post your waxing appointment. Sun exposure will cause your freshly waxed skin to become extremely sensitive. Sunbed use within 48 hours can cause pigmentation.

Please avoid makeup on the eyebrow area for 24 hours post treatment

Keep brows dry for the first 24 hours

Always brush and style your laminated brows when wet. This will ensure they stay in place all day!

Use a conditioner on the brows every morning

Apply a brow mask to the brows 2-3 times a week

When you feel like your lamination is beginning to fade - use our All Night Brow styling wax to keep them in place! This product can also be used for extra hold and sleek looking brows.

As tempting as it may be, do not pluck any hairs in between appointments. This can cause the hairs to begin growing at different rates and will ruin your shape that we have worked hard to achieve.
